Purraries Cattery: An exclusive Oklahoma cattery specializing in the Exotic Shorthair.

My name is Deanna Hass and Purraries Exotic Shorthairs is a new, small cattery located in north central Oklahoma. We are situated on 22 acres of Pecan groves which my family has lived on for over 50 years. We are located just outside of Ponca City in Osage County.

I have always loved cats and came from a cat loving family. I used to have Persians, but when I saw the Exotic Shorthair, I fell in love with the breed with the bonus of less maintenance. That adorable face without all the hard work; and the Exotic personality is outstanding.

I have had the opportunity to live in Maryland and most recently spent 16 years on Amelia Island in northeast Florida before settling in Oklahoma. While this is my first venture into breeding Exotic Shorthairs, I have extensive experience volunteering with our local humane society.

My biggest claim to fame so far is my Garfield Christmas ornament collection. I am a Garfield nut!!
